Our dear sweet friend Melissa just recently moved to Hutto, Texas from Columbus, Indiana.. Lacey and I miss this lady terribly. She has been my cheerleader through the last couple years and always there to listen when I needed it. THANK YOU Melissa! She has been taking Elias’ photos since he was born as well. Well Elias just realized she was gone ;) so this is totally the face you make once you realize that she is gone and not taking your photos anymore…… Melissa we hope you are doing well in Texas and can’t wait to hear about your new endeavors!
Here are some other outtakes from our Mini Easter Photo session. Sloane had to crash his session since they are in the same class.
You heard that Easter Minis will be available on April 6 (space limited) 13+14th two setups available photos below of both
I have known Jackie for many years. We attended each others weddings and now we are both photographers. I love that I got a chance to capture their newest addition! She has some of the sweetest children and our boys are only 3 months apart as well as our youngest children are only 5 months apart. Her older children are such great helpers and over the moon for their newest baby brother Sawyer.
It has been quite a while since I have gotten a chance to sit down and write. This past February I have had the opportunity to acquire a studio space. Since doing this I have had a chance to not only work on but expand my newborn work. To say it has been wonderful is an understatement! Here are just a few images of work done in the new studio for Raegan!
In honor of getting my own studio space I have decided to host in studio mini sessions! Space is Limited!
I have been dabbling with getting into boudoir photography. Candy was kind enough to let me share these photos of her. We took these in Longwood, Meath Ireland. Isn't she stunning!? The location was actually an old farm house and we got some gorgeous photos inside as well. I will just let you get to scrolling instead of reading because I can't resit her natural beauty.
I had the wonderful privilege of getting to photograph this cute family mini session here in Columbus, Indiana. It is Quinton's 6 month birthday. How sweet are these three brothers?
We braved the chilly weather for this gorgeous session.
Laura+Jason were married at Duncan Memorial in Louisville, Ky. Laura met Jason through her sister. They met over tomato plants how sweet is that? He came over to her sisters house they are neighbors and said I will give you these tomato plants if I can go on a date with your sister. The rest is history! I love that they even included this at their reception. Their wedding is one of my all time favorites because they were laid back, easy going, and their pictures prove this. Check out more from Laura+ Jasons big day below! These are just some snippets.
Check out Lauras gorgeous bridals above + some shots from their ceremony at Duncan Memorial Chapel, Louisville, Ky.
Their wedding reception was held at Owl Creek Country Club in Louisville, Ky. The sunset was absolutely magical we just had to sneak away to do some intimate couples pictures.
The gorgeous bouquets + flowers were done by A Touch of Elegance Florist in Louisville, Ky link is listed at the end.

We started this day out at our mountain resort in Park City, Utah overlooking the town.
Alyssa is absolutely gorgeous! Big shout out to Partyography Workshops for finding this gorgeous model. I have to start out by saying this if one of my first ever boudoir sessions. Amy + Kandis were able to find this gorgeous gal to model for us. T'Ann of T'Ann Payne: Makeup Artistry did her makeup + Ericka of Hair Design by Ericka Dowsett (links below)
After we left our house we drove up some of the steepest hills I have ever been up. We were up in Park City, Utah. We climbed up and there was a beautiful overlook+ wooded area that Kandis + Amy had picked for us to shoot at. The rest you see below! I am thinking of offering boudoir now also let me know what you think!

Not only that but it is because of my past clients taking the time to write the reviews so new cliental can see how their experience was. I am so thankful + grateful! Thank you is not even enough to say this!
Once again I am so thankful to have this chance and I am excited to see what 2017 is going to hold for me + Photography by Sarah-Mae. Seriously you guys I am flipping out over here I was not expecting this at all! Thank you. Stay tuned huge things are happening including a trip to Ireland!

So it was our first real snowfall here in Columbus, Indiana for the winter season. My friend Kat has been dying to be able to model for me sometime so of course I had to take the opportunity to get her behind my camera. I called Kat up and said " hey are you busy today?" her response was no. I said "can you be ready in an hour for a bridal snow session?" She said of course. So I ran to Kroger super quick my good friend Jessie works as the head florist. I said can you put something gorgeous together for me to use as a bridal bouquet? Below was her creation she did such a great job of bringing my vision to life!
I had Jessie throw in some eucalyptus leaves + dusty roses. John Mark has gotten Kat the most gorgeous wedding ring + band!
The snow was absolutely magical and I couldn't have asked for a better model. I had several dresses I have toyed with having her wear but she brought her own wedding dress + cape that she wore on her wedding day. So of course I jumped at the opportunity for her to wear her own dress.
This snow was incredible who needs a snow overlay when you have the real deal? I am also so thankful my husband hasn't torn down our big red barn yet! I will hate to see it go, guess that means we will have to make our own wooden wall for me to used.
Flowers: Jessica Wroblewski Kroger Marketplace Lead Florist
Model: Kat of Autumns Dawn (which by the way got to try out for America's Got Talent and hopefully they will get a spot on the show!)
Alicia + Stephanie were married in a beautiful private creekside ceremony. The creek is located in scenic KY on Alicia's family farm. I met Alicia aka "Wheelz" in the summer of 2013 at Pennyroyal GS Camp we worked together and she knew from that moment she wanted me to photograph her wedding one day. Alicia has a love for the outdoors, animals and of course Stephanie. Below are some gorgeous details from their big day. DIY can be done on a budget and still look amazing!
The vintage love birds which are actually salt + pepper shakers hold a special place in Stephanie's heart they belonged to her grandmother. I love that we were able to incorporate something with so much meaning into the big day.
The bow on Alicias veil was her grandmothers from her wedding dress. Repurposing items from important articles of clothing and incorporating them into your wedding is a great way to honor the ones you love but still holding true to yourself Alicia did just that!
These two lovely ladies did a first look before we went down to the creek on the farm. It was one of the sweetest first looks I have done. The excitement is captured in the images above. I love the emotion you can see on their faces.
This ceremony was so fun I got to go creek walking with these lovely brides and friend Blake who was the efficient!
Wow has it been 6 whole months since I got to photograph this cuties newborn pictures? So much has changed he now has 1 tooth. Not to mention that but they have moved to a new house + he has started crawling! This family is near and dear to my heart I have known Dan since high school, my husband Tyler + Dan went to high school together. A lot of things have changed since then we both have gotten married, moved several times, and now both have kiddos (they are roughly a year apart). Well enough jabbering I will just let you all see this handsome fellow, I think its time to invest in several other backdrops I really enjoyed trying it out for the first time + also doing more of a lifestyle family session.
"He is always smiling and happy. It is so fun when he laughs back at you+with you. His personality is really starting to show, he is so rambunctious, independent & curious." -Dan+Kira
Stay tuned for Benjamin's one year session that will be here before we know it!
Can you believe it is already 2017?! I am super excited to finally get this gorgeous couple up on the blog! I have known Eric for many years and he was able to attend our wedding in 2012 and now I get the honor of photographing his wedding this fall! This couple loves being outdoors so it was no surprise these two wanted their pictures taken somewhere that they spend much of their free time hiking these trails.
These two will get to have their reception at the same location so I cannot wait for their big day!
